This invitation was sent to pioneers of Vancouver who arrived to the city before the completion of the railway, on the 23rd of May 1887. This special dinner was being hosted by the Board of Park commissioners at the Stanley Park Pavilion. During the celebration the commemorative plaque dedicated to L. A. Hamilton was reviled.
