Glenn Coe of Kelowna and Alan Hyndman of Penticton both score on their tent pegs on the tent pegging race in Queens Park in the mid 1950's. Tent pegging was a skill learned by the early cavalry when they attacked an enemy camp first pulling out the tent pegs.
